Russ LaScala

I started photographing the ocean in 2013, which eventually led to several years working in product photography.

Over time I became interested in the systems behind the work — websites, ecommerce, and the tools businesses use to operate. That curiosity pushed me into web development.

Today I build Shopify stores, WordPress sites, and custom web applications for small businesses and agencies.

Swell Visuals started as an ocean photography project and eventually became the home for both my photography and development work.
